How to Find Your Perfect Shoe Size with Vanson

At Vanson, we understand that finding the right shoe size is essential for a comfortable and enjoyable wearing experience. To ensure that you select the perfect size for your Vanson shoes, follow our easy-to-follow guide. Keep in mind that shoe sizing can vary between brands, so taking accurate measurements is crucial.
What You'll Need
Before you start measuring your feet, gather the following items:
  1. A piece of paper larger than your foot.
  2. A pencil or pen.
  3. Ruler or measuring tape.
  4. Tape
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Begin by securing the paper to a flat surface, such as the floor. Ensure it's firmly in place to prevent any movement during the measurement process.

Step 2: Tracing Your Foot
Sit down with your foot resting flat on the paper. Bend your leg slightly forward so that your shin is slightly ahead of your ankle. Remember to measure your foot without shoes but with the type of socks you intend to wear with your Vanson shoes.
Hold the pencil or pen upright and perpendicular to the paper. Avoid angling it. Make sure it's snug against your foot as you trace around it. If needed, you can ask someone for assistance, but it's entirely possible to do this on your own.

Step 3: Mark the Length and Width
With your foot outline complete, draw straight lines connecting the outermost points at the top, bottom, and both sides of the outline.

Step 4: Measure the Length
Using your ruler or measuring tape, measure the distance from the bottom line to the top line that you drew in step three. Make sure to hold the measuring tape straight and select the closest measurement (for inches, use the nearest 16th mark). Note down this number.

Step 5: Measure the Width
To determine the width of your foot, measure from the line on one side of your tracing to the line on the opposite side. As before, choose the closest measurement (for inches, use the nearest 16th mark) and record it.

Step 6: Find Your Shoe Size
Repeat these measurement steps for your other foot and use the larger of the two measurements. Afterward, subtract 1 mm from each measurement to account for the slight gap between your actual foot and the traced outline.
These final numbers represent your accurate foot measurements. Refer to our size chart below to convert these measurements into the appropriate US shoe size for your foot length.

Vanson Shoe Size Conversion Chart

Please note that our size chart provides approximate US shoe sizes based on your foot length. If you're unsure about your size or between sizes, consider ordering both sizes and returning the one that doesn't fit comfortably. We want you to enjoy every step in your Vanson shoes.

Navigating Our Size Guide On Website
We've made it easy for you to find the perfect fit for your Vanson shoes on every product page. Simply click on the "Size Guide" link to access our sizing information. Here's how to use it:
US to Vanson (Euro) Size Conversion: In the size guide, you'll find a handy conversion chart that matches US sizes to Vanson (Euro) sizes. This chart ensures you select the right size when ordering online.
Handling Half Sizes: If you find yourself in between sizes (e.g., US 7.5), we recommend choosing the larger size. This approach ensures your shoes have a comfortable fit, as it's often better to have a little extra room than shoes that are too snug.

Our goal at Vanson is to make sure you enjoy your shoes to the fullest, and that starts with finding the right size. Our size guide is here to assist you in making the best choice for your feet, so you can step out in confidence and style.
